Learn how Fairfield County Child and Adult Protective Services in Ohio—ranked the No. 1 state in the nation for number of heroin deaths, with a 19% increase in children entering foster care since 2015—teamed up with Ohio's Attorney General on a public awareness campaign about the opioid epidemic, and also implemented an approach to manage the information overload.

How to Merge Cases in Compass Pilot

Users with the appropriate privilege can merge duplicate cases in Compass® People. Merging a duplicate case into a current case will remove the duplicate from Compass People, as well as add all documents, tasks, members, and narratives to the current case. Remember: merging can't be undone, so proceed with caution!

To merge cases:

  1. Search for the current case in Compass People.
  2. Use the Find and Remove Duplicate of Current Case option in the Actions menu.
  3. A window will open, allowing you to search for duplicate cases.
  4. Once you've found the duplicate case, use the Merge Duplicate option and confirm the acknowledgement messages.
  5. Once the merging process is complete, the duplicate case will be removed from People.
